George and Ruth Garcia have three children and began their ministry at Emmanuel Hope of Glory Wesleyan Church in August of 2009. George has a Master of Arts in Religious Education from the Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines in 1991. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Education at the Asian Theological Seminary, Manila, Philippines, 1993. He was ordained in the Wesleyan Church, Florida District at their 1997 District Conference.

Their oldest son, Joshua, is enrolled at Boston University, majoring in  Biblical Studies. He graduated from George Fox University. Their second son, Jordan, plays the keyboard and guitar for the worship team. Emma, 7 years old, sings on the worship team and is an enthusiastic greeter to everyone who comes in the door. His wife Ruth is the children’s ministry coordinator.

Most of George’s experience has been with existing churches, leading worship music, working with young people and arranging special events. He started a church plant in Temecula, southern California. His father was Rev. Saturnino Garcia, the first General Superintendent of the Wesleyan Church in the Philippines.
